Online applications are being invited from genuine Bangladeshi citizens to fill 468 vacant posts of ‘Officer (IT)‘ based on the year 2021 through a single competitive examination in 2 banks that are members of the Bankers Selection Committee. Combined 2 banks have recently released a circular for the recruitment of 468 people in 1 post. Candidates’ age should be between 18 to 30 years as of 25-03-2020. However, in the case of children of freedom fighters/martyred freedom fighters, the age is 32 years.

• a) Master’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Science and Engineering/Information and Communication Technology/Information and Communication Engineering/Software Engineering/Information Technology/Computer Science and Software Engineering/Computer Science and Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized university or four years graduation/ Must have Graduate (Honours) degree.
• b) Minimum 01(one) First Division/Class in Secondary School Certificate/Equivalent and above level examinations. Government policies will be applicable to the results of the grading process.
• c) 3rd category/class will not be accepted at any stage.

9. Application Fee: Offerable Rs. 200/-(Rupees two hundred only). Dutch Bangla Bank Limited’s Mobile Financial Services (MFS) Applicants have to pay the fee using their own or agent account in the Prepaid payment method through ‘Rocket’.

10. Application Procedure:

a. Online Registration: Only on the Bangladesh Bank recruitment website (https://erecruitment.bb.org.bd) Apply by registering online by filling in the prescribed table. Detailed rules and conditions of application submission are available on the website itself.

b. CV ID Number: Existing CV ID Number and Password of candidates previously registered in the Bangladesh Bank system
Applications must be submitted using A CV ID Number and Password for new candidates after registering online
will be received which must be saved for future use (no more than one CV can be generated against a candidate).

c. Candidate Details: The name of the candidate, name of the father, and the mother must be written in the online application as per SSC or equivalent certificate.

d. Candidate’s Current Address: The candidate’s current residence and address to receive recruitment correspondence should be mentioned as the current address.

e. Candidate’s Permanent Address: The candidate’s permanent address should be mentioned in the nationality certificate issued by the Union Parishad Chairman/ Municipal Mayor/ Ward Councillor. Married female candidates can use their husband’s addresses as their permanent addresses. However, unmarried female candidates can change their permanent address in favor of their husband’s permanent address if they get married after submitting the application, subject to proper proof.

f. Photo: Previously registered candidates can use an existing photo. However, the new candidate must scan a color photograph with a white background taken not more than three months ago and upload it in the designated place of the website in a size of 600×600 pixel 3 file size not more than 100 KB. Face and ears must not be covered while photographing. Uploading black and white photos and Informal photos will be treated as a cancellation of candidature.

g. Signature: The candidate’s own signature should be scanned and uploaded at the specified location of the website in a size of 300×80 pixel 3 file size, not more than 60 KB. The signature must be in black ink on white paper.

h. Date of Result of Degree Obtained: The date of publication of the result of the respective degree published by the Controller of Examination must be mentioned.

i. Candidates with foreign degrees: If the candidate has passed ‘O’ Level and ‘A’ Level, an equivalent certificate is issued by the relevant domestic education board, and if the degree is obtained from a foreign university, an equivalent certificate issued by the relevant domestic University/University Grant Commission/Ministry of Education or appropriate authority. And the information of the result (with mention of class/department/GPA/CGPA) must be submitted to the checking board at the time of oral examination. Otherwise, the candidate will not be able to participate in the oral examination.

j. Organization Preference: In the online application, the candidates have to determine their institution preference by taking into consideration each institution mentioned in the recruitment circular. Final shortlisted candidates will be shortlisted for recruitment in the concerned institution subject to the availability of vacant posts in the order of their merit and preference mentioned in the online application. After submission of the application, the applied institution preference cannot be changed under any circumstances.

Prepaid Payment Method: Bankers Selection Committee Secretariat or 499 should be selected as Biller ID to pay the fee either through Rocket Ass or Manual. After that, you have to pay the fee by using the relevant Job ID Number, the 1st part of your CV ID Number {the part before the hyphen (-)}, the amount of the fee, and the required information. After paying the fee, the candidate will get a Transaction ID (TxnID) number in the message option of the mobile. Candidate must complete Payment Verify individually using the received TxnID number. Otherwise, the application will remain incomplete.

l. Verify Payment: After paying the fee, the candidates have to enter the TxnID received in the specific field of the Bangladesh Bank e-recruitment site and complete the Payment Verify. If an applicant does not complete the payment verification within the stipulated time, he will not be able to download the admit card.

m. Collection of Tracking Page: After the completion of Payment Verify, the candidate will be provided with a Tracking Page containing the Tracking ID Number. The tracking page should be saved for future use. Only after saving the Tracking Page will the candidate’s application be considered complete. A duplicate copy of the Tracking Page will not be provided under any circumstances after the stipulated time.

n. The Candidate’s name, father and mother’s name, permanent address, date of birth, photograph, signature, and other information must be filled in very carefully and accurately in the online application. Subject to verification of overall information, photograph, signature, etc. provided in the application, initially, eligible candidates will be given the opportunity to participate in the examination. Applications containing incomplete/wrong information will be rejected without any communication.

11. The notification regarding the admit card and selection exam date of the preliminarily qualified candidates will be published in due course on the Bangladesh Bank recruitment website and daily national newspaper.

12. Candidates will have to attend preliminary selection and written and oral tests.

13. Candidates need not send any documents during Online Application. Candidates who have cleared the written test must submit appropriate certificates/certificates on the day of the oral test in support of every piece of information provided in the online application. Candidates will not be allowed to participate in the oral examination if any substantive error is found in the online application. Moreover, the candidate will not be included in the panel even if any error is observed during the preparation of the panel at the end of the oral test.

14. Job candidates have to apply with prior approval of their recruiting authority and produce a copy of said approval on the day of the oral test.

15. Government’s latest policy regarding quota and other rules will be duly followed in recruitment.

16. The respective banks will issue the final assignment following their own rules.
