According to the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, the final result of the appointment of assistant teachers in the government primary schools of the country will be published on Wednesday afternoon. It has been decided to increase about five thousand posts with the approved posts of the circular.
Mahbubur Rahman, the public relations officer of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, confirmed this information to Prothom Alo on Wednesday morning. He said, ‘All preparations have been made to publish the results. The result will be published on the website of the Directorate of Primary Education at 2 pm. Apart from this, those who pass will also be notified of the result by SMS on their mobile phones.
Earlier on Monday, the Secretary of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Farid Ahmed, told Prothom Alo that after checking the vacant posts of assistant teachers in government primary schools, it has been decided to increase the number of 5,000 posts. The final result will be declared on Wednesday.

The job aspirants also submitted a memorandum to the District Commissioner’s Office and the District Primary Education Office in 61 districts demanding the appointment of the maximum number of vacant posts and increasing the number of posts in the ongoing recruitment process.
On November 28, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education informed us that the final result will be published on December 14 after verifying the actual vacancies. Now, if five thousand posts are increased with the approved posts in the circular, the total posts are a little more than 37 thousand.
This is the biggest recruitment circular so far in the history of the government primary school teacher recruitment programs. Online application starts on 25 October 2020. 13 lakh 9 thousand 461 candidates applied. The written and oral examination for the recruitment is conducted in three phases but the final result is published only once. 40 thousand 862 people passed the written exam in the first phase, 53 thousand 595 in the second phase, and 57 thousand 368 in the third phase.
