46th B.C.S. (BCS) Preliminary (MCQ) Exam Schedule Notice. 46th B.C.S. Exam-2023 Preliminary Test (MCQ Type) Schedule. 46th B.C.S. Exam-2023 Preliminary Test (MCQ Type) will be held simultaneously at Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chittagong, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur, and Mymensingh centers on 26.04.2024 from 10.00 AM to 12.00 PM on 26.04.2024. Exam hall, seating arrangement, and related important instructions will be published in due course on the Bangladesh Public Service Commission website [www.bpsc.gov.bd] and Teletalk Bangladesh Limited website [http://bpsc.teletalk.com.bd]. The Bangladesh Government Works Commission reserves the right to amend any subsequent amendments to the published press release.
Candidates will have to participate in a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) Type Preliminary Test of 200 (two hundred) marks. The duration of the exam is 2 (two) hours. There will be a total of 200 (two hundred) questions in this exam. Candidates will get 1(one) mark for each correct answer, but for a wrong answer 0.50 (zero decimal five zero) marks will be deducted for each wrong answer; MCQ Answer Sheet of Preliminary Test is a confidential document. It shall not be displayed to any candidate or his representative in any way and the test marks shall not be displayed or given to any candidate or his representative; There will be no opportunity for rechecking or rechecking answer sheets of the Preliminary Test. Preliminary tests and written examinations will be held at Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur, and Mymensingh centers. However, if the preliminary test/written test is not possible at any center of the candidate’s choice, the candidate will have to participate in the preliminary test/written test at any other center designated by the commission. Note that the oral examination will be held at the head office of the commission, Dhaka. No application for a change of center will be entertained.
Among the disabled candidates who need an audio recorder, qualified trained audio recorders will be appointed by the Bangladesh Public Works Commission based on their application. Candidates with disabilities who require an audio recorder must apply to the Controller of Examinations [Cadre] of the commission to obtain an audio recorder along with the medical certificate, photo, and copy of disability identity card within the time specified by the Labor Commission.
The pass number of the preliminary test will be determined by the Bangladesh Government Work Commission, in which case the decision of the commission will be final; If the registration number is not entered correctly and the circle is not filled correctly or if any tampering in the answer sheet, the candidature will be canceled.
