the amount allocated as a special grant for the secondary and higher education departments, educational institutions under the Ministry of Education, teachers-staff and students, suitable educational institutions, teachers-staff, and students- With the aim of transparent and fair distribution among the students, applications are being invited from the educational institutions, teachers, staff and students under the following conditions as per the ‘Policies to be followed for Grants to Educational Institutions, Teachers and Students (Revised-2020)’ ( Policy available at www.shed.gov.bd). shed.gov.bd scholarship 2023 apply:

(a) Grants can be applied for repair and renovation, collection of furniture, the establishment of a library, collection of sports equipment, and making the institution disabled-friendly in all recognized private general education institutions (including MPO and non-MPO) in the country. In the selection of educational institutions, priority will be given to educational institutions in backward areas with good quality education;

(b) the teaching staff of private general education institutions (MPO and non-MPO) can apply for grants for their incurable diseases and natural accidents;

(c) Students of public or private general education institutions (MPO and non-MPO) can apply for incurable diseases and natural accidents and educational expenses. In giving this grant, priority will be given to the students in distressed, disabled, helpless, diseased, poor, talented, and backward areas:

(d) Heads of educational institutions, teachers-staff and students interested in obtaining sanction/grant in the said sector on the website of the Secondary and Higher Education Department (www.shed.gov.bd) between 05th February to 28th February 2023 Educational Institutions, Teachers -Employees and Students- Students have to submit the application online by clicking on the financial grant application form button. No application will be accepted after the stipulated time;

(e) In case of application of the educational institution, the certificate issued by the President of the Managing Committee/Governing Body and endorsed by the Upazila Secondary Education Officer/Thana Secondary Education Officer must be attached;

(f) In the case of application in the teacher-employee category, all medical certificates and natural accident certificates must be attached along with the national identity card number;

(g) In the case of school-college students, birth certificate numbers should be provided. The application must be accompanied by the certificate of the head of the institution and, in the case of university-level students, the certificate of the head of the department;

(h) In the case of educational institutions, the money allotted will be paid online as the institution’s own bank. So fill in the bank account information properly during online application: PDF copy of 1 check page of the MICR checkbook should be attached as evidence of said account;

(j) In the case of teachers-employees and students, the allocated money will be paid through mobile banking cash. So during the online application, you have to provide a personal mobile number with cash transactions enabled. Agent numbers or merchant numbers are not acceptable;

(j) Educational institutions, teachers, and staff who have received grants in the financial years 2020-21 and 2021-22 cannot apply for financial grants this year (the current financial year 2022-23);

(k) Students who have received grants in the financial year 2021-22 cannot apply for financial grants this year (the current financial year 2022-23);

(l) In case of disability, the ‘Disability Certificate issued by the concerned Social Welfare Officer shall be attached;

(d) Incomplete applications or hard copies of applications are not acceptable.
