Job Responsibilities
• To assist relationship Management in the international remittance business, sub-agents, and the bank’s overseas subsidiaries.
• Identify and open new corridors/countries for inward foreign remittances.
• Execute and negotiate agreements, renewals, and amendments drawing arrangements with foreign exchange houses.
• To support branches in troubleshooting in connection with payments of foreign remittances.
• Encourage the team to arrange a new remittance relationship with Banks and Financial Institutions with local and International Banks and money transfer products.
• Assist research on both foreign and domestic markets, with the use of fundamental and technical analysis.
• Prepare reconciliation sheets and ensure that all sheets are balanced accordingly to the regulations and laws of the industry and Company.
• Support new products including implantation, testing, and production workflow. Responsible for new product development
and coordination with Cash Management in the review, testing, and roll-out of additional products.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management and bank committees.
• Assist to maintain local & international banks to determine RMA relation, Nostro A/C & different points.
• Perform jobs related to foreign exchange operations of the bank through the bank’s overseas subsidiaries and other exchange houses/correspondences.
• Maintenance of Correspondent Banking Relationships (both local and overseas operations). and Bangladesh Bank for smooth foreign remittance-related businesses of the bank.
• To adopt strategies in terms of foreign remittance acquisition
and assist management in further strengthening the bank’s image & profile in the international arena.
• Prepare presentations for Training purposes.
• Maintaining the bridge between own exchange houses and the Bank.
• Supervision day-to-day operational activities.
• Processing of invoices for BEFTN, RTGS, own banks A/C credit, and cash over the counter (CoC).
Responding to queries from branches, remitters, beneficiaries, and exchange houses.
• Reconciliation of exchange houses A/C on daily basis.
• Knowledge of software development, API, overseas A/C opening
Educational Qualification:
• Master’s Degree preferably in Business discipline from any reputed Public/Private/Foreign University with a good academic track record having no Third Class/ Division/ Equivalent GPA/CGPA in the educational records.
