The wait of more than 2 million students who appeared for this year’s Madhyamik exam will end on November 28 2022. The results of SSC and equivalent examinations will be announced on the same day, said Tapan Kumar Sarkar, president of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of Dhaka Education Board.

He told bdnews24.com on Monday, “The final date for publishing the SSC exam results has been fixed. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will officially announce the results on November 28 at 11 am. After that, the students will know the result.” This year, nine general boards, madrasahs, and technical education boards, a total of 20 lakh 21 thousand 868 students participated in the SSC and equivalent examinations.
In the country, the secondary examination was usually held in the month of February. Due to the change of the entire curriculum due to the coronavirus, the government conducted the exam in November last year eight and a half months behind.
For the same reason, the SSC and equivalent exams were supposed to start on June 19, four and a half months behind. The exam, which was postponed due to floods in various districts, began after another three months, on September 15.
