Medical Admission 2023 pdf Download

Medical Admission Test Notification Released, Application Starts on 13th February. The application will end on February 23. Students who have obtained GPA-9 in both SSC and HSC can apply to participate in the examination. MBBS course admission notification for the academic year 2022-2023 is applicable for government and private medical colleges. According to the admission policy-2023 made by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council, you have to apply online in the prescribed schedule.

Medical Admission Eligibility 2023:

1. Applicant must be a citizen of Bangladesh.

2. (a) Students who wish to participate in the admission test for the academic year 2022-23 should have HSC/’A’ level/equivalent in 2022 and SSC/’O’ level/equivalent in 2020 or HSC/’A’ level/equivalent in 2021 and SSC/’in 2019. Must have passed O’ Level/Equivalent Examination. Provided that the HSC/equivalent examination must have been passed in the previous 02 (two) years of passing the SSC/equivalent examination.

(b) Students who have passed SSC/ ‘O’ Level/ Equivalent Examination in Science Department and HSC/ ‘A’ Level/ Equivalent Examination with Biology, Physics and Chemistry will be considered eligible to apply.

3. Aggregate GPA should be at least 9.00 in both SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent examinations.

4. Aggregate GPA of minimum 8.00 in SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent examinations in case of non-tribal candidates from tribal and hill districts. However, GPA less than 3.50 in any single exam will not be considered eligible to apply.

5. For all HSC/equivalent examination if the minimum grade point is not 4.0 in Biology, the application will be considered rejected.

6. 1 (one) hour written examination of 100 (one hundred) MCQ questions of 100 (one hundred) marks will be held.

MBBS Admission Written Test Syllabus:

  • Biology 30;
  • Chemistry 25;
  • Physics 20;
  • English 15;
  • General Knowledge (History of Bangladesh and Liberation War) 10.
  • 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in written examination.
  • Candidates scoring less than 40 marks in the written examination will be considered as failed.
  • Result will be published along with merit list of eligible candidates.

7. GPA obtained in SSC & HSC or equivalent examination will be evaluated as follows out of total 200 marks:

  • a) 15 times the GPA obtained in SSC/equivalent examination = 75 marks (Maximum)
  • b) 25 times the GPA obtained in HSC/equivalent examination = 125 marks (Maximum)

8. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the written admission test and the sum of the marks obtained in the SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent examinations in the manner described in paragraph 07.

9. Merit by deducting 05 (five) marks from the aggregated marks of the candidates who passed the HSC examination of the previous year and 8.0 (eight) marks from the aggregate marks obtained in the case of students admitted in the previous year’s Government Medical College or Dental College/Unit. List will be created.

14. Admit Card Distribution / Download: From 06-03-2023 , Monday to 07-03-2023, Tuesday
15. Admission Test Date: 10-03-2023, Friday, 10.00 am to 11.00 am

 

16. Online form filling rules for MBBS admission and detailed information regarding admission Health Education and Family Welfare Department website www.mefwd.gov.bd, Department of Health Education website www.dgme.gov.bd, Department of Health website www.dghs.gov .bd and dgme.teletalk.com.bd can be found.

 

17. Application processing, monitoring, evaluation of answer sheets, finalization of results and re-verification will be done in digital process. The answer sheet will be checked on “OMR/ICR” machine.

 

18. Bangladeshi citizens who have passed SSC/HSC equivalent examination in foreign education (O-Level/A-Level) program can apply online after converting their marksheets to GPA prevailing in Bangladesh and collecting Equivalence Certificate.

  • In that case, they should apply to the Director, Medical Education, Directorate of Health Education, Mohakhali, Dhaka along with a bank draft/pay-order of Tk 2000/- (room no. 204, Medical Education Branch of the Directorate of Health Education) to collect the ID number while collecting the Equivalence Certificate. will be
  • To collect the Equivalence Certificate, the original mark sheets and certificates of SSC and HSC equivalency examination and certified copies of the mark sheets and certificates must be brought along.

19. For Bangladeshi nationals who have passed SSC and HSC equivalent examinations from abroad, their mark sheets must be compulsorily attested by the Bangladeshi Embassy/High Commission in the concerned country, the designated Embassy/High Commission for Bangladesh in the concerned country and Ministry of Education/Foreign Affairs, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

  • Foreign passport holders of Bangladeshi origin studying in a Bangladeshi institution will not be considered for this opportunity in any way.

20. After passing the HSC/equivalent examination, the Bangladeshi citizen students who want to study in MBBS courses outside the country must participate in the central entrance examination and obtain a minimum of 40 marks.

21. Govt rules will be applicable for quota candidates.

22. The admission test is centrally controlled. Participation in admission test from any center ensures equal opportunity.

23. If the information provided by any candidate appeared/selected (which is considered in determining the result) is found to be incomplete and incorrect, his/her examination/result/admission will be considered cancelled. The decision of the Admission Test Committee in any matter shall be considered final.
