Dhaka university admission circular 2023 pdf download. DU Admission Online Applications for undergraduate admission will start on 27th February 2023 at 4:00 PM. Admission Notice for Undergraduate Program for Academic Year 2022-2023. From the year 2017 to the year 2020, only those students who have passed the secondary or equivalent and higher secondary or equivalent examinations in 2022 and who fulfill the prescribed conditions for admission to various units in Dhaka University can apply for admission to the undergraduate program in the academic year 2022-2023.
Admission candidates from 27/02/2023 04.00 pm to 20/03/2023 11:59 pm online through Dhaka University Admission Website admission.eis.du.ac.bd can apply Application Fee 1000/- (One Thousand) Students will deposit the application fee at any branch of four state-owned commercial banks (Sonali, Janata, Agrani, Rupali) or online using a debit/credit card or mobile financial services. Students can apply for admission in 04 (four) units.

Dhaka University Science Unit Admission Circular 2023:
For admission to all departments and related institutes under the Faculty of Science, Faculty of Biology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
All the departments/institutes that can be applied for admission under this unit will be detailed in the admission guidelines of the unit given on the website.
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary and IGCSE/O Level and IAL/GCE A Level Examinations in Science and Madrasa Education Board Science Branches and equivalent GPA (including 4th Subject) in Secondary and Higher Secondary or equivalent examination (including 4th subject) with a minimum GPA of 8.00 (Secondary/ have minimum 3.5 in equivalent and higher secondary/equivalent examinations separately) can apply for admission.
However, students of higher secondary and madrasa education board of humanities and commerce branches can also apply for admission in this unit. In that case, the student must have a GPA of a minimum of 7.5 (separately minimum 3.0) obtained in secondary and higher secondary or equivalent examination (including 4th subject).
Dhaka University Arts, Law and Social Science Unit Admission Circular 2023:
Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Social Sciences, and all related departments For admission to the institute. All the departments/institutes that can be applied for admission under this unit will be mentioned in detail in the admission guidelines of the unit given on the website.
Candidates who have passed Alim and IGCSE/O Level and IAL/GCE A Level examinations in Humanities of Higher Secondary Board and General Branch of Madrasa Education Board and have GPA-sum of minimum 7.5 (Secondary/ have minimum 3.0 in equivalent and higher secondary/equivalent examinations separately) can apply for admission.
However, science and commerce students of Higher Secondary and Madrasa Education Board can also apply for admission to this unit. In that case, the sum of the GPA obtained by the student in the secondary and higher secondary or equivalent examination (including 4th subject) should be a minimum of 8.0 (minimum 3.5 separately) for the science stream and a minimum 7.5 (minimum 3.0 separately) for the commerce stream.
Dhaka University Business Education Unit Admission Circular 2023:
Under this unit, all departments under the Faculty of Business Studies that can be applied for admission will be mentioned in detail in the admission guidelines of the unit given on the website.
Candidates who have passed IGCSE/O Level and IAL/GCE A Level Examinations in the Business Education Branch of the Board of Higher Secondary Education and have a minimum GPA of 7.5 (in Secondary/Equivalent and Higher Secondary/Equivalent Examinations) separately must have a minimum of 3.00) can apply for admission.
However, science and humanities students of Higher Secondary and Madrasa Education Board can also apply for admission to this unit.
In that case, the student must have a minimum GPA of 8.0 (minimum 3.5 separately) and a minimum of 7.5 (minimum 3.0 separately) for humanities in the secondary and higher secondary or equivalent examination (including the 4th subject).
Dhaka University Fine Arts Unit Admission Circular 2023:
Under this unit, applications for admission to all the departments under the Faculty of Fine Arts will be mentioned in detail in the admission guidelines of the unit given on the website.
Candidates who have passed any branch of the secondary and higher secondary or equivalent examination must have a GPA-sum of a minimum of 6.5 in secondary and higher secondary/equivalent examination (including 4th subject) (minimum 3.0 in secondary/equivalent and higher secondary/equivalent examination separately).
Applicable to all units (for IGCSE/O Level and IAL/GCE A Level) candidates:
1. Students who have passed at least 5 subjects in IGCSE / O Level examination from 2017 to 2020 and at least 2 subjects in IAL/GCE A Level examination with results published after 10th May 2022 can apply for admission. Their IGCSE O Level and IAL / GCE A Level must have at least a B grade in 4 subjects and a C- grade in 3 subjects respectively out of a total of 7 subjects.
2. Candidates holding equivalent foreign certificates/diplomas may apply subject to the permission of the Head of the Unit concerned. However, they can participate in the admission test only if the equivalence is determined by the concerned faculty. Apart from this, all the candidates have to fulfill other conditions prescribed by the concerned unit.
Dhaka University Quota Admission Circular 2023:
Ward Quota (Boys/Girls/Husband/Wife Only), Tribal/Minority, Harijan and Dalit Community, Handicapped (Sight, Speech, Hearing, Physical, Neuro-Developmental Disorders, Transgender/Hijra) of Faculty/Officers/Employees working in Dhaka University,
Children of Freedom Fighters/Grandsons/Grandchildren of Freedom Fighters,
Players (only students who have passed the HSC examination from Bangladesh Sports Education Institution BKSP) quota candidates must collect the prescribed form from the Dean’s office of that unit within 7 (seven) days of the release of the admission test result of the concerned unit by showing the admit card of the admission test.
Those who wish to be admitted to the quota by duly filling out the quota form should submit their certificates/certificates/credentials to the office of the concerned unit head during office hours.
(a) In case of ward quota, along with the certificate of the concerned office head of Dhaka University.
(b) with attested photocopy of the certificate of the respective Tribe/Minority Head/District Administrator in case of Tribal/Minority Quota.
(c) In the case of the Harijan and Dalit community quota, along with the certificate of the head of the Harijan and Dalit community organization.
(d) with correctness certificate in respect of disability quota (visual, speech, hearing, physical and neuro-developmental disorders, transgender/hijra).
(e) Certificate issued by Ministry of Liberation War Affairs in case of children/grandson/granddaughter of freedom fighter or countersigned by the then Hon’ble Prime Minister under Bangladesh Freedom Fighter Parliament from 1997 to 2001.
(f) Only students who have passed the HSC examination from Bangladesh Sports Education Institution (BKSP) can apply for player quota. In this case, the certificate should be obtained from the Bangladesh Sports Education Institution.
It is completely prohibited to use Mobile Phone, Calculator, and Electronic Device containing a watch and pen in the examination center for the candidates admitted to the undergraduate program in the academic year 2022-2023 at Dhaka University.
