From 04 February 2023, the oral examination of the candidates who have cleared the written examination for the Social Worker (Union) post will begin. In view of the notification dated 09/7/2018 AD of the Department of Social Services, the written test was held on 21/10/2022 to recruit social workers (union). The result of the written examination was published on 31/10/2022. The oral examination of the candidates who have passed the written test will be held from 04/02/2023 as per the attached schedule/timetable at the Directorate of Social Services, Headquarters, Agargaon, Dhaka.
IICT Department, BUET will issue an SMS to the mobile number of the candidates for participating in the oral examination. Candidates are requested to attend the oral examination at the scheduled time and place as per the scheduled date and time. The admit card of the written test will be treated as the admit card of the oral test. No separate admit card will be issued for the oral examination. Detailed information including the schedule/timetable of the oral examination is available on the website of the Directorate of Social Services at www.dss.gov.bd.

At the time of oral examination, the original copies of the following documents must be produced and attested copies must be submitted by a gazetted officer of the 1st class.
a) Attested copies of all original/temporary certificates related to educational qualification, and experience (where applicable).
b) Attested copy of National Identity Card/Birth Certificate.
c) Citizenship certificate issued by the concerned Union Parishad Chairman/ Municipal Mayor/ City Corporation Ward Councillor.
d) Character certificate by 1st class gazetted officer.
e) Certificate from a Competent Authority as per the latest Government Policy in case of Physically Handicapped, Orphans, Minorities and Ansar and VDP candidates and
In the case of candidates applying for freedom fighter quota, an attested copy of the freedom fighter certificate issued by the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs of freedom fighters and martyred freedom fighters’ parents/son daughters father/mother’s parents’ freedom fighter certificate.
f) If the candidate is the son-daughter of a freedom fighter/martyr and the son-daughter of the son-daughter of a freedom fighter/martyr, the candidate is a freedom fighter,
Attested copy of the certificate issued by 1st Class Gazetted Officer or Chairman of Union Parishad/Municipality Mayor/Ward Councilor of City Corporation concerned indicating relationship.
No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the oral examination.
