BCS (Tax) Academy Recruitment Conditions 2023

The following conditions must be followed while filling out the application form and participating in the examination.

01. (a) Age limit of general candidates is 18-30 years as of 20th December 2022. However, the age limit is 18-32 years in the case of minority ethnic groups and sons and daughters of freedom fighters / martyred freedom fighters and physically challenged. An affidavit is not admissible for proof of age.

(b) In addition, as per Ministry of Public Administration’s Memorandum No. 05.00.000.170.11.01720-149 dated September 22, 2022, even if the applicant’s age is within the maximum age limit as of 25-03-2020, the candidates will get an opportunity to apply.

(c) The age limit of departmental candidates is relaxable up to 40 (forty) years in respect of the posts mentioned in Serial No.-8 in the above table.

02. Candidates employed in Government/Semi-Government and Autonomous Organizations shall apply subject to the permission of the appropriate authority and submit the no-objection letter at the time of oral examination. No advance copy will be accepted in this case.

03. If the candidate is the son-daughter of a freedom fighter/martyr freedom fighter or son-daughter of son-daughter, it should be clearly mentioned in the application form.

04. Candidate Eligibility Verification:

Candidates have to submit photocopies of all the certificates attested by a gazetted officer of first class along with the original copies of the documents mentioned below (Serial-A to G) at the time of oral examination.

(a) Certificates of all educational qualifications of the candidate (including experience certificates where applicable).
(b) Citizenship certificate issued by the Chairman of the Union Parishad/Municipal Mayor/Ward Councilor of the City Corporation in which the candidate is a resident of the Union/Municipality/Ward.
(c) Certificate/certificate issued by the appropriate authority to the candidate in support of quota claim other than female quota.
(d) National Identity Card.
(e) Applicant’s Copy of Online Filled Application Form and Admit Card
(f) If the applicant is the son-daughter of a heroic freedom fighter/martyred freedom fighter or the son-daughter of a heroic freedom fighter/martyred freedom fighter, the certificate of freedom fighter and the certificate given by the concerned Union Parishad Chairman/Municipal Mayor/Ward Councilor of the City Corporation stating the continuity relationship with the applicant.
(g) Certificate issued by the competent authority as per the latest policy of Govt.

05. Date and schedule of written, oral and practical examination later on notice board and website of BCS (Tax) Academy
will be notified through www.bcstaxacademy.gov.bd and candidates will be notified through SMS on their personal mobile phones.

06. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the Written/Practical/Oral Examination.

07. Incomplete, defective and late applications will be considered rejected.

08. The rules issued by the Government will be applicable in the matter of recruitment.

09. The number of vacancies mentioned in the recruitment notification may decrease/increase. The Authority reserves the right to partially or fully modify/cancel this notification.
