An official of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, on condition of anonymity, told Prothom Alo today that the final result of the recruitment of assistant teachers in primary schools will be published this afternoon. The results will be available on the website of the Department of Primary Education. He said, against the notification, the issue of appointment to approved posts has been finalized. Accordingly, the list of 32 thousand 577 candidates will be published.

Notification published in 2020 for the recruitment of Assistant Teachers in Primary. According to the approved posts of the circular, 32 thousand 577 posts of teachers were to be appointed, but the initiative was taken to increase it. In a meeting of the ministry in March this year, journalists were told that 45,000 assistant teachers will be hired. As more than 10,000 posts were vacant due to retirement, it was decided to increase the posts. But the post is not being increased at the last moment.
Written and oral examinations will be conducted in three phases in this recruitment which is big in the history of primary but the final result will be published only once. According to Ministry of Primary and Mass Education sources, since it is a single recruitment notification, written and oral are taken in three stages, but the final result is published together. Otherwise, senior-junior problems may arise.
In this recruitment, 40 thousand 862 people passed the written test in the first phase, 53 thousand 595 in the second phase, and 57 thousand 368 in the third phase. 13 lakh 9 thousand 461 candidates applied for the job.
Meanwhile, the candidates who are waiting for the release of the final result are forming a human chain to demand 58,000 recruitment in the ongoing recruitment process for the post of assistant teachers in primary schools. They have standardized in some districts including the capital Dhaka. The job aspirants have submitted a memorandum to the Director General of the Directorate of Primary Education and the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education regarding this demand.
It is said in the memorandum that although there are 32 thousand 577 approved posts, more than 10 thousand posts are vacant due to the retirement of Corona in two years, the outgoing secretary of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education said to appoint 58 thousand candidates.
