Timetable and Instructions: Candidates are to do-

• 9-9.30: Candidates will enter the designated examination hall room and take their seats.
• 9.30: Candidates will be given an answer sheet. Candidates will write their name, district, and registration number on the answer sheet with a black ink ballpoint pen and fill in the respective circles below and sign the attendance list as per the instructions of the invigilators.
• 10.00: Question papers will be given to the candidates. The set number will be printed on the answer sheet. There will be 4 sets of answer sheets, i.e. Set-1, Set-2, Set-3, and Set-O. Each set of question paper is printed in different colors. The question paper of similar/same set number will be given to the candidate who will get the answer sheet of the set number. The set number of the answer sheet and the set number of the question paper must be one and the same. After confirming this, the candidate will start answering.
• 11.00: The exam will be over. Candidates will stay in their respective seats. The invigilators will collect the answer sheets. Candidates will leave the examination hall after the invigilators have counted the answer sheets. Candidates will take the question paper.

Exam Instructions-

1. Candidates must participate in the MCQ type of exam following the hygiene rules issued by the government. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without a mask.

2. From the Commission website www.bpsc.gov.bd or the Teletalk website http://bpsc.teletalk.com.bd
Candidates with the downloaded admit card have to participate in the selection test (MCQ Type) for the post of Senior Staff Nurse. No fresh admit card will be issued in favor of the candidates.

3. In case of lost or destroyed admit card of any candidate can be downloaded from the Commission website www.bpsc.gov.bd or Teletalk website http://bpsc.teletalk.com.bd. No candidates will be allowed to appear in the examination without admit card.

4. The instructions given in the admit card should be read and followed very carefully.

5. No candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall after 10.00 am.

6. Candidate’s registration number consists of 6 (six) digits. If a candidate’s registration number is less than 6 (six) digits, fill the left side cell/cells with 0 (zero), write the digits of the registration number in the applicable cell with a ballpoint pen, and fill the corresponding circles below with black ink ballpoint pen.

7. Candidates will not be admitted to the examination in any other center/room other than the designated room of the particular center.

8. In the attendance list, each candidate’s registration number and name will be printed next to his/her photo and signature similar to the admit card. The photo and signature of the admit card will be checked with the photo and signature of the attendance list, if there is no match, the hot candidate will be expelled and legal action will be taken against him.

9. After receiving the question papers, no candidate can leave the room till the end of the examination.

10. Candidates are especially warned that if the registration number is not written correctly in the answer sheet if the circle is not filled in correctly if any kind of tampering or any fluid is applied to the answer sheet, his/her candidature will be canceled.

11. Candidates with disabilities who require an audio recorder should submit the application form (with 2 copies of color photographs) for the audio recorder to the Director, Unit-7, Head Office of the Commission, Dhaka by 20.02.2023 [during office hours]. The recorder will be provided by the Karma Commission considering the applications received.

12. In view of the application submitted by the commission by the disabled candidate, a permission letter with a photograph will be issued only to the audio recorder authorized by the Bangladesh Public Service Commission. The audio recorder must appear at the examination along with the concerned disabled candidate with the photo permit issued by the Commission.

13. Candidates have to answer multiple choice questions (MCQ) of 100 marks. Candidates will get 01 (one) marks for each correct answer; 0.50 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The full-time examination 01 (one) hour.

14. Candidates will be given a combined question paper of a total of 100 marks including Bengali-20, English-20, General Knowledge (Bangladesh and International Affairs)-20, and 40 marks for related technical/professional subjects. They have to answer 100 marks in 04 subjects in OMR FORM within the stipulated time of 01 (one) hour.

15. In the case of any candidate found to be substantially [substantive] deficient in the conditions mentioned in the recruitment notice, the candidate’s candidature will be canceled at any stage before or after the oral examination.

16. Bringing books, bags/vanity bags, jewelry, bank cards/credit cards/debit cards, and similar items like watches, pocket watches, electronic watches, mobile phones, watch-like mobile phones, calculators or any electronic devices to the examination center is Totally prohibited. Candidates cannot wear any covering over the ears during the examination, the ears must be open.

During the course of the examination, if any prohibited material is found in the examination room, the same will be confiscated and his/her candidature will be canceled and necessary legal action will be taken against him/her.
