Comilla University Recruitment Circular 2023. Applications are being invited from the genuine citizens of Bangladesh for the appointment of manpower for the following permanent posts as per the National Pay Scale-2015 in the revenue sector of Comilla University.

Educational Qualification and Experience:

• Candidate should be a graduate (Honours) degree holder from a recognized university and should have minimum second division/class or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all stages of education.
• The candidate should have a minimum of 05 (five) years of practical experience in the post of Deputy Director of the concerned department with a total of 15 (fifteen) years of practical experience as a first-class officer of the concerned department in any Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous organization.
• Any degree/diploma in planning and development will be considered an an additional qualification.
  Candidate should have proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Preference may be given to the candidates having the mentioned qualification in the concerned department of a reputed university. Retired senior officers with relevant experience can apply if they are interested in doing contractual jobs.
• Age: Maximum 55 years.

1. Application form to ‘Registrar, Comilla University, Kotbari, Comilla’ on 30/01/2023 AD. Dates (excluding public holidays) must reach during office hours (9.00 am to 4.00 pm) in person/by post. Any application received after the prescribed time will not be accepted.

2. Candidates have to apply in the University’s own application form. The application form should be collected from the University website (www.cou.ac.bd) or from the Registrar’s office during office hours (9.00 am to 4.00 pm) except holidays.

• (a) Candidates have to submit 10 (ten) sets of application forms along with all necessary documents.
• (b) Attested copies of all examination certificates and mark sheets, experience and training (if any or applicable), National Identity Card and all other original/temporary certificates (sealed with the name of first-class officer) should be attached with the application form.
• (c) 04 (four) copies of passport-size color-attested photographs (sealed with the name of the first-class officer) should be attached to the original application form.
• (d) The candidate must enclose a self-addressed return envelope with a postage stamp of Rs.10 (ten) along with the application form.
  4. 1000/- (one thousand) from any branch of Janata Bank Limited for the mentioned post should be enclosed with the application form. Bank draft/pay order should be in favor of Registrar, Comilla University, Comilla, in favor of Janata Bank Limited, Comilla University Branch, Kotbari, Comilla. The Bank draft/pay order number, amount, and date should be mentioned in the application form.

5. Employed candidates must apply through the appropriate authority. Applicant’s application form of the concerned institution If forwarded by the Registrar/Head of the Institution to the Registrar of Comilla University or if the original application form supplied by the Comilla University with the signature and seal of the Head of the concerned Institution is written with the word Forwarded, it will be considered as an application through the proper authority.

6. Children of Freedom Fighters / Sons and Daughters of Freedom Fighters / Handicapped and Tribal / Tribal Candidates have to submit the application form along with certificates from the competent authority as per the latest policy. In the case of children of freedom fighters/children of freedom fighters, the attested copy of the certificate issued by the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs in favor of the candidate’s father/mother/grandfather/grandmother should be submitted along with the application form. The age is relaxable up to 02 years in the case of children of freedom fighters/ sons and daughters of freedom fighters

7. Defective/incomplete applications will be considered rejected and the decision of the authority in selecting and appointing the applications received will be final.

8. Each candidate should clearly write the name of the post applied for and the section applicable to the freedom fighter’s child/freedom fighter’s son/daughter/disabled and tribal/tribal candidate on the envelope.

9. After an initial screening of applications received only eligible candidates will be called for a written interview. No TA/DA will be given for participating in the selection test.

10. Age is relaxable for candidates working in departmental and government institutions.

11. The authority reserves the right to partially or fully cancel/modify the published recruitment notice without assigning any reason.

12. Applicants must mention all certificates and degrees of his/her educational qualification in the application form. Any concealment or non-mention of such information shall not be attached to the certificate document of the examination side in the future and administrative action shall be taken as per the rules. Also, the benefits mentioned in the promotion policy will not be provided.
