Schedule and Instructions:

• Candidates will enter the designated examination hall room and take their respective seats.
• Candidates will be given an answer sheet. The set number (1/2/3/4) will be printed on the answer sheet. Each set of answer sheets will be of a different color. Candidates will write their name, district, and registration number on the answer sheet with a black ink ballpoint pen and fill in the respective circles and sign the attendance list as per the instructions of the invigilators. The center room should be filled.
• Candidates will be given a question paper. 04 sets of marks will be printed on the question paper; For example, Set-1, Set-2, Set-3, and Set-4. Each set of question paper is printed in different colors. The question paper of the same color and set number will be given to the candidate who will get the answer sheet of the same color and set number. The set number of the answer sheet and the set number of the question paper must be one and the same. The examinee will give the answer after confirming the matter. No candidate will be allowed to enter the center after the commencement of the examination at 3.00 PM. No candidate will be allowed to leave the center till the end of the examination.
• After the examination, the candidates will stay in their seats. The invigilators will collect the answer sheets. Candidates will leave the examination room after the invigilators have collected the answer sheets. Candidates will carry the question paper.

 

Important Instructions Regarding Exam:

2. A. Candidates’ registration number consists of 6 (six) digits. If a candidate’s registration number is less than 6 (six) digits, the digits (numbers) of the registration number should be filled in the applicable circle below with a black ink ballpoint pen in the appropriate box of the answer sheet by filling the left side cell/cells with 0 (zero).

b. Instructions given at the bottom of the admit card should be read and followed very carefully.

c. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall after the distribution of question papers. After giving the question paper, no candidate can leave the examination room till the end of the examination.

d. No candidate can appear in the exam without admit card. Each candidate’s registration number and name in the attendance list will be printed with his/her photo and signature similar to the admit card. The photo and signature of the admit card will be compared with the photo and signature of the attendance list, if there is no match, the candidate will be expelled and legal action will be taken against him.

e. Candidates cannot use wristwatches, pocket watches, electronic watches, calculator in the examination hall. The use of the calculator mentioned in the admit card is applicable for the written test and not for the selection test.

f. Arrangements will be made to conduct special search operations against fake candidates. Books, bags, wallets, watches, pocket watches, electronic watches, mobile phones, watch-like mobile phones, calculators, or any electronic devices are strictly prohibited in the examination center. Candidates cannot cover their ears during the exam, they must keep their ears open. Candidates should not wear jewelry in the examination hall. Nothing like a credit card/bank card can be carried in the examination hall. During the course of the examination, if a candidate is found with prohibited material in the examination room, it will be confiscated and his/her candidature will be canceled. Necessary legal action will be taken against the said candidate by expulsion.

G. Candidates are especially warned that if the registration number is not written correctly and the circle is not filled correctly in the answer sheet if there is any tampering if any fluid is applied to the answer sheet, his/her candidature will be canceled.

h. There will be a total of 100 (one hundred) questions in this exam. The full value will be 100 (one hundred). Candidates will get 01 (one) mark for each correct answer, but for giving a wrong answer 0.50 marks will be deducted from the total marks obtained for each wrong answer. Full time for examination is 1 (one) hour.

i. Candidates with disabilities (if any) who require an audio recorder should submit the application for the audio recorder to the Director, Unit-2, Head Office of the Commission, Dhaka by 19/01/2023 AD (during office hours). The recorder will be provided by the Karma Commission considering the applications received.

J. In view of the application submitted to the commission by the disabled candidate, only the audio recorder authorized by the Bangladesh Public Works Commission will be issued with photo permit. The audio recorder must appear at the examination along with the concerned disabled candidate with the photo permit issued by the commission.

k. Candidates for this post will not be sent any admit card for the examination. If the admit card is lost/damaged, download and collect the admit card from the Commission’s website www.bpsc.gov.bd and Teletalk Bangladesh Ltd.’s http://bpsc.teletalk.com.bd website. No candidate will be allowed to participate in the examination without admit card.

l. In the case of a candidate, if there is any substantial (substantive) deficiency in the conditions mentioned in the recruitment circular, the candidate’s candidature will be canceled at any stage before or after the oral examination.

m. Candidates are required to maintain social distancing by strictly following the hygiene rules prescribed by the government and must participate in the examination wearing a mask. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without a mask.
