Degree 1st year to Degree 2nd year Promotion Rules

Candidates of degree 1st year must know the promotion rules from degree 1st year to degree 2nd year. According to the rules of the National University, for promotion from 1st year to 2nd year of the degree, one must appear in all subjects and pass at least 3 subjects.

Degree 1st year to Degree 2nd year Promotion Rules

Cannot be absent in more than one subject. In this case only if any 1 subject is missing, all other subjects must pass. Only then you will get the promotion. If more than one exam is missed, the result will be Not-Promoted. If not-promoted you will not get a promotion in the next academic year. Your 1-year academic year will be lost. In that case, the form will have to be filled and the exam will have to be given in the next session by paying the re-admission fee.

The subject grade obtained with F must be upgraded to at least a D grade (within the validity of the registration card). You can give Improvement only if you get C, D or F. C, D can be given improvement in any 2 subjects.

Degree 1st year to 2nd year Exam Information:

• Pass if you get 40 out of 100 marks.
• 3 hours 30 minutes exam.
• There will be an exam of 80 marks.
• 20 Marks In-course Exam which is held by your college.
• You will pass if you get 40 in theory and in the course. Do not pass separately.
